Motion ads for performance

Motion

Visual

Criteo is a global adtech company specializing in performance marketing and personalized advertising. As a designer in the EMEA Creative Services team, I worked on campaigns for renowned brands across retail, fashion, travel, and technology.

This project showcases a summer campaign for a well-known ice cream brand, where I created motion ads in multiple display sizes, designed onsite ads within retailer environments, and built a landing page that tied the experience together.

All my work at Criteo was covered by NDA. The campaign shown in this project is an anonymized recreation.

Challenge

The goal was to drive seasonal sales by engaging users across different digital touchpoints, from display ads to conversion point. This meant balancing brand guidelines with the need for adaptable high-performing creatives, under a fast-paced campaign timeline.

Outcome

I designed a cohesive campaign, starting with motion ads optimized for multiple formats, extending to ads placements within a retailer's search results page, and culminating in a responsive landing page focused on conversion. The final assets delivered a consistent experience that supported engagement for a seasonal push.

Driving Performance with Design

Design decisions were guided by performance data and user behavior insights. Onsite ad placements drew attention without disrupting the browsing experience, while the landing page focused on clarity and conversion.

Balancing Brand, Constraints, and Cohesion

The campaign required had to meet brand guidelines and technical limitations, while still focusing on performance. By adapting creatives across multiple sizes, layouts and placements, I delivered a cohesive campaign experience that stayed on-brand, worked across platforms, and drove measurable results.
